I am Deanna Chase, a full time lampwork bead and marble maker. Lampwork is an old fashion term for torchwork (In the old days bead makers made beads by melting glass over oil lamps). Now the technique is similar to glass blowing, only we melt glass with a duel mix propane/oxygen torch instead of glory holes and furnaces. I work in my home studio here in Louisiana.
